The Best Thing Since Al Gore’s Internet

Today I was reminded of the wonder and joy of one of my favorite places in Baton Rouge: Southside Produce.

It’s an open air market brimming with fresh produce, cute old ladies, assortments of jams and jellies and spreads and honeys, fresh bread, a little pumpkin patch… It is a happy place filled with happy people making way for happy thoughts to explode from my brain.

Listen to this.

Roma tomatos, bananas, two peaches, three oranges, a carton of blackberries, zucchini squash, yellow squash, baby carrots, a red bell pepper, and a happy heart. All for a grand total of $8.50.

Life really doesn’t get any better.

Grace and peace,
Hope
